Introduction

CO2High Limited was founded in January 2012 specifically as a vehicle to bring the new approach and technology to market. It is privately owned, funded from shareholder resources, and is based in the UK, near the beautiful city of Bath.

It's mission is to help reduce the world's consumption of energy by enabling environmentally aware organisations understand and manage their IT infrastructure.  Computers and associated IT contribute a large proportion of the total environmental impact of organisations, typically 18% in office environments.  That proportion is expected to rise to 30% by 2020.  Not only does IT have a big carbon impact, it also has a big cost in energy bills for companies.  With shareholder environmental concerns and energy costs rising, efficient computer infrastructure is now a board-level issue.

The innovative approach to solving the carbon footprinting problem has already received praise from the UK's university sector, well known for leading the environmental cause, with several expressing interest in using the technology.  Queen Mary College, University of London has already commissioned the service.

CO2High's founding directors have a combined 60 years experience in IT development and service provision and have previously been directors of the Service Management company RMS.  Part of the offering uses discovery technology under licence from RMS.

It's a natural SaaS solution being applicable world wide without increasing the carbon footprint in the delivery process."
